The Kali Gandaki valley is said to be the deepest river-system in the world as it
runs north/south between the giant peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, both in excess
of 26,000 feet (8000m). The northern end of the area covered here just crosses the
borders of the fabled kingdom of Mustang, one of the last strongholds of true Tibetan
culture. This recent coverage concentrates on the exciting landscapes and
mountains of the region. 6x7 and 6x17cms originals.
