The Sherpa culture of the Solu-Khumbu region is largely Tibetan in
origin and
includes a number of vivid festivals. This collection of images was
shot mainly during
the autumn festival of Mane Rimdu, at Thyangboche Monastery before it
burned down
in the late '80s (it has since been re-built). 35mm
transparencies.
