~ Commercial Photography ~ advertising, commercial and corporate photography, including cars, studio still-life and large-scale studio sets. Since 1990, however, he has specialised in landscape and location photography. Commercial work and personal projects have taken him all over the world, including Japan, Nepal, India, Oman, the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, north Africa, the Falklands, Russia, most countries of Western Europe, and the eastern and western United States. Images from many of these travels are represented in his photolibrary, Wildcountry, and today he spends much his available time working on his specialities - the Scottish Highlands and the Nepal Himalaya - on both of which he has published several books, and with others now in the pipeline. In 1992, he founded Peak Publishing, dedicated to the production of high-quality photographic books on landscape and the natural environment. He still works for advertising, agencies, design consultancies, and book and magazine publishers. |
